About Sand Soldier

Sand Soldier, Unit, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Jul, 2021 in the set Empires of the Ascended.

A deck focused on aggressive early game strategies and Nexus damage would benefit from including Sand Soldier, as it provides a cheap unit with Ephemeral that can deal direct damage to the enemy Nexus upon striking. However, there are potentially better cards for similar strategies, such as Dunekeeper, which also costs 1 lor-shurima but provides a permanent 1/1 body on the board.
