Burning Wish is een veelzijdige kaart die nuttig kan zijn in decks die afhankelijk zijn van specifieke tovenarijkaarten vanwege hun winvoorwaarde of strategie, zoals combo- of toolbox-decks. Hoewel het toegang kan bieden tot krachtige tovenarijen van buiten het spel, hangt de effectiviteit ervan af van de beschikbaarheid en relevantie van die tovenarijen.
