Een kaartspel dat zich richt op het malen van de bibliotheken van tegenstanders en het vullen van hun begraafplaatsen zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Consuming Aberration, omdat de kracht en sterkte ervan schaalt met het aantal kaarten op de begraafplaatsen van de tegenstander. Er zijn echter potentieel betere kaarten voor deze strategie, zoals Glimpse the Unthinkable of Mind Funeral, waarmee meer kaarten tegelijk kunnen worden verwerkt. Consuming Aberration zou het spelen in een op molens gericht kaartspel nog steeds kunnen zien als een krachtige afmaker, maar de effectiviteit ervan kan variëren afhankelijk van de specifieke strategie en meta.
