About Double Vision
Double Vision, Enchantment, designed by Heonhwa Choe first released in Jun, 2020 in the set Core Set 2021 and was printed exactly in 7 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's a key card in 1 combos.
A deck that focuses on casting multiple instant or sorcery spells each turn, such as a spell-slinging or burn deck, would benefit greatly from including Double Vision. While it can be a powerful card in the right deck, some players may opt for alternatives like Thousand-Year Storm or Swarm Intelligence for even more spell duplication potential. Ultimately, whether Double Vision sees play will depend on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck it's included in.
Rules
23/06/20
A copy is created even if the spell that caused Double Vision’s ability to trigger has been countered by the time that ability resolves. The copy resolves before the original spell.
23/06/20
If the spell that’s copied is modal (that is, it says “Choose one —” or the like), the copy will have the same mode or modes. You can’t choose different ones.
23/06/20
If you cast an instant or sorcery spell before Double Vision enters the battlefield during the same turn, its ability can’t trigger that turn.
23/06/20
You can’t choose to pay any additional costs for the copy. However, effects based on any additional costs that were paid for the original spell are copied as though those same costs were paid for the copy too.
