Heroïsch teamwerk zou het beste passen in een go-wide witte aggro- of token-gebaseerd kaartspel dat op betrouwbare wijze meerdere kleine wezens kan produceren (zoals White Weenie, Selesnya Tokens of Boros go-wide-strategieën), aangezien het tikken op wezens met een totaal vermogen van 3+ triviaal is als je meerdere 1/1s of 2/2s hebt, en de cantrip-clausule helpt het kaartnadeelrisico van gevechtstrucs te compenseren.
