FlavorDe duinwallower sluimert op veel grotere diepte dan zijn kleinere xer'sai-neven. Het is bekend dat het een gemakkelijke maaltijd maakt van andere Xer'sai-roofdieren, maar het is zelden gedocumenteerd - waarschijnlijk vanwege het feit dat het hele duinen (en eventuele getuigen) in zijn geheel kan opslokken.

    The Dune Swallower card would benefit a control deck that focuses on stalling the game and outlasting opponents, as it provides a strong defensive presence with SpellShield and Fearsome. While the requirement to kill an ally or mana gem 3 times can be a drawback, it could potentially fit well in a deck that generates cheap tokens or has excess mana. However, other cards like Renekton or Emperor's Dais might offer more consistent value and impact on the board, making Dune Swallower less likely to see play in competitive decks unless specific synergies are built around it.
