Quicksand would be beneficial in a control-oriented Shurima deck that focuses on disrupting enemy strategies and maintaining board control. While Quicksand can be a useful tool for weakening enemy units and disabling their positive keywords, it may not always be the most efficient option compared to other removal or disruption cards like Ruin Runner or Exhaust. Its situational effectiveness and cost may limit its overall impact in competitive play, but it could still find a place in specific deck archetypes that prioritize disruption and tempo advantage.
