A deck that focuses on controlling the board and outlasting opponents would benefit from including Thorny Toad, as it provides a valuable combination of board presence and healing for the Nexus. While Thorny Toad offers a decent value with its Last Breath effect, there may be better options depending on the specific strategy of the deck, such as Warden's Prey for early game board presence or Vile Feast for removal and Nexus healing.
