About Rubble Reading
Rubble Reading, Sorcery, designed by Aaron Miller first released in Jan, 2019 in the set Ravnica Allegiance.
This card, Rubble Reading, would be beneficial in a red control or land destruction deck, as it allows for both disrupting your opponent's mana base and providing card selection with the Scry 2 effect. While it can be useful in specific strategies, there are arguably better options like Stone Rain or Molten Rain for pure land destruction, or cards like Lightning Bolt for more versatile removal. Whether Rubble Reading sees play would depend on the specific deck strategy and the current metagame.

If the target land is an illegal target by the time Rubble Reading tries to resolve, the spell doesn’t resolve. You don’t scry 2. If the target is legal but not destroyed (most likely because it has indestructible), you do scry 2.
