Ruin Runner would be a great addition to an aggressive Shurima deck that focuses on overwhelming the opponent with powerful units and protecting them from enemy spells. While Ruin Runner's combination of Overwhelm and SpellShield is strong, there may be better options like Emperor's Dais or Merciless Hunter depending on the specific strategy of the deck. However, Ruin Runner could still see play in certain situations where its abilities can shine, especially against spell-heavy decks.
