About Setessan Training
Setessan Training, Enchantment — aura, designed by Scott Murphy first released in May, 2020 in the set Theros Beyond Death and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This Setessan Training card would be beneficial in a green-based aggro deck looking to enhance the power and trample ability of a key creature while also providing card draw upon entering the battlefield. However, for a more competitive edge, cards like Rancor or Aspect of Hydra might be more efficient choices due to their lower mana cost and potentially higher impact on the board, making Setessan Training less likely to see play in top-tier decks.

If the creature Setessan Training would enchant is an illegal target by the time the Aura spell resolves, the entire spell doesn’t resolve. It won’t enter the battlefield, so its ability won’t trigger.
