Moonmist would be beneficial in a Werewolf tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it can transform all Humans into Werewolves, triggering their transformation abilities. However, there are better cards for this purpose, such as Full Moon's Rise, which provides a similar effect but also grants all Werewolves and Wolves +1/+0 and trample until end of turn. Moonmist may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited utility compared to other options available for tribal strategies.

Moonmist causes any double-faced Human to transform, not just Werewolves.

Moonmist will prevent combat damage dealt by a creature that isn’t a Werewolf or a Wolf even if that creature wasn’t on the battlefield (or was a Werewolf or a Wolf) when Moonmist resolved.
