About Waking Sands

Waking Sands, Spell slow, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Jul, 2021 in the set Empires of the Ascended.

This card, Waking Sands, would benefit a Shurima deck focused on summoning multiple units and board presence. While it provides a Sandstone Charger upon summoning, there are potentially better options such as Emperor's Dais or Preservarium for more impactful effects. However, Waking Sands could still see play in decks looking to quickly establish a board presence with low-cost units and synergize well with other summon effects in the deck.
