FlavorEvelynn's first encounter with Steem was a violent, thrilling affair. Evelynn remembered how he smiled with unbridled pleasure as she flayed him, and how he returned the suffering just as eagerly when it was his turn. After finally overpowering Steem, Evelynn chose then not to destroy the lesser demon, but to bind him to her forever. Perhaps, she thought, they could share their mutual love for butchery with the world.

About Steem

Steem, Unit, designed by 1 first released in Jul, 2022 in the set Worldwalker.

Steem would be a great addition to a Bilgewater aggro deck that focuses on Scout synergy and swarming the board with units. While the random Husk summon can provide additional value, there are potentially better cards like Gangplank or Miss Fortune that offer more consistent and powerful effects for the same cost. However, Steem could still see play in specific deck archetypes that benefit from its Scout ability and token generation.
