About Hidden Hideout
Hidden Hideout, Land, designed by Erikas Perl first released in Feb, 2026 in the set Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Eternal. It see play in 2 formats: Commander and Pauper Commander.
Hidden Hideout would fit best in a Commander deck that consistently puts counters on its creatures and cares about incremental value, such as +1/+1 counter decks (e.g., Atraxa, Shalai and Hallar, Hamza), experience counter decks, or even strategies using shield, oil, or other counter types; the lifelink activation can swing races when placed on a large, evasive, or trampling creature. The flexible mana production is helpful in multicolor Commander decks, but because it always enters tapped and only grants lifelink (not a counter itself), it’s relatively low-impact compared to stronger utility lands like **Vault of the Archangel** (which gives your whole team deathtouch and lifelink), **Shizo, Death’s Storehouse** or **Rogue’s Passage** (which help push damage through), or even **Opal Palace**, which directly adds counters to your commander. In most optimized or high-power lists this would likely be cut for faster or more impactful lands, but in casual or budget counter-focused Commande
