About Barkbeast
Barkbeast, Unit, designed by MAR Studio first released in May, 2020 in the set Rising Tides.
A deck that focuses on sacrificing allies or has a lot of units that benefit from dying would benefit from including Barkbeast. Decks that utilize cards like Ravenous Butcher or Glimpse Beyond to trigger ally deaths can make good use of Barkbeast's ability to quickly grow in power. While Barkbeast can be a strong inclusion in certain strategies, there may be better options depending on the specific deck archetype and playstyle, such as Warden's Prey or Hapless Aristocrat for early game board presence or value generation. Ultimately, the decision to include Barkbeast in a deck should be based on its synergy with the overall strategy and card pool available.
