A card like **Boulder Dash** (1R for 2 damage to any target and 1 damage to any other target) would best fit in an aggressive red deck, such as Mono-Red Aggro or a red-based burn deck, because it provides reach (can hit players) while also offering small two-for-one potential by picking off a second small creature or planeswalker. That said, it is generally underpowered compared to existing staples: **Lightning Bolt** (1 mana for 3 damage), **Play with Fire**, **Lightning Strike**, and especially **Searing Blaze** (which can deal 3 to a creature and 3 to that creature’s controller) are more efficient in competitive formats. Even **Arc Trail** (1R for 2 damage to one target and 1 to another) has historically been only situationally playable, and Boulder Dash is essentially a flexible but not stronger variant of that effect. Because efficiency is critical in red decks, this card would likely only see play in Limited formats or possibly Standard if the power level were low and better burn
