About Arcbound Slith
Arcbound Slith, Artifact creature — slith, designed by Vance Kovacs first released in May, 2020 in the set Darksteel and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A deck focused on artifact synergy and modular mechanics, such as an artifact-heavy affinity deck in the Modern format, would benefit from including Arcbound Slith. While it can potentially grow in power with each combat damage dealt, there are more efficient modular creatures like Arcbound Ravager that can distribute their counters in a more impactful way. However, Arcbound Slith could see play in a budget version of the deck or as a supplement to other modular creatures for added consistency in counter distribution.
Rules
09/25/06
If this creature gets enough -1/-1 counters put on it to cause its toughness to be 0 or less (or the damage marked on it to be lethal), modular will put a number of +1/+1 counters on the target artifact creature equal to the number of +1/+1 counters on this creature before it left the battlefield.
