Common Goal fits green creature-heavy decks, especially go-wide or midrange builds with efficient bodies, deathtouch creatures, or creatures that benefit from dealing damage, because it can turn two attackers into a potential two-for-one against a single large blocker; however, it is sorcery-speed and requires favorable board presence, so it is strongest in Limited and generally too situational for competitive Constructed play. `Ram Through` is often better when using a single large creature, since it is an instant and can send excess damage to an opponent if that creature has trample, while `Bushwhack` or more flexible removal may be preferable depending on the format; Common Goal is worth a Limited deck slot when you have enough creatures with meaningful power, but it should only see Constructed play if a specific deck reliably exploits its two-creature damage clause.
