About Drownyard Explorers
Drownyard Explorers, Creature — human wizard, designed by Anthony Palumbo first released in Apr, 2016 in the set Shadows over Innistrad and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Drownyard Explorers would be a great addition to a control or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides card advantage through investigating. However, there are better options available in the format such as Snapcaster Mage or Torrential Gearhulk, which offer more impactful abilities. While Drownyard Explorers may not be a top-tier card, it could still see play in casual or budget decks looking for card draw options.

The token is named Clue and has the artifact subtype Clue. Clue isn’t a creature type.
