About Howlgeist
Howlgeist, Creature — spirit wolf, designed by David Rapoza first released in May, 2012 in the set Avacyn Restored and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck focused on aggressive creature strategies, particularly in a green-based deck with ways to pump Howlgeist's power, would benefit from using this card. However, there are potentially better options available, such as creatures with evasion abilities or stronger combat abilities. Howlgeist could see play in certain metagames or strategies, but its effectiveness may vary depending on the overall deck composition and the current state of the game.
Rules
05/01/12
The comparison of power is performed only when blockers are declared. Increasing the power of a blocking creature (or decreasing the power of Howlgeist) after this point won’t cause any creature to stop blocking or become unblocked.
