Spectral Shield, Enchantment — aura, designed by Margaret Organ-Kean first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A control deck that focuses on protecting key creatures would benefit from using Spectral Shield, as it provides both a defensive boost with the +0/+2 buff and protection from targeted spells. While it can be effective in certain situations, there are generally better options available, such as cards that offer more versatile protection like Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots. Spectral Shield could see play in budget decks or as a situational sideboard card.

The enchanted creature can still be the target of abilities.
