About Sprite Dragon
Sprite Dragon, Creature — faerie dragon, designed by Simon Dominic first released in Apr, 2020 in the set Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths and was printed exactly in 9 different ways.
Sprite Dragon would be a great addition to a spell-heavy tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering, where you can quickly grow it into a formidable threat by casting noncreature spells. While it's a strong card for its cost, some may argue that Monastery Swiftspear or Stormchaser Mage could be better options due to their potential for immediate impact and evasion. However, Sprite Dragon's ability to grow larger over time can make it a solid choice for decks looking to close out games quickly with a flying, hasty threat.

An ability that triggers when a player casts a spell resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered.
