Fokkerij zwembad, Land – boseiland, designed by Yeong-Hao Han first released in May, 2020 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 22 different ways.
Een deck dat ernaar streeft om vroeg in het spel toegang te hebben tot zowel groene als blauwe mana, zoals een Simic (groen-blauw) tempo of controledeck, zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Breeding Pool. Hoewel er andere dubbele landen zijn die in sommige situaties efficiënter kunnen zijn, kan de flexibiliteit van Breeding Pool en het vermogen om beide kleuren mana te leveren zonder het slagveld te betreden, het tot een sterke opname maken in decks die zowel groene als blauwe manabronnen vereisen. Over het geheel genomen is Breeding Pool een solide keuze voor decks die waarde hechten aan flexibiliteit en vroege toegang tot meerdere kleuren mana.

Unlike most dual lands, this land has two basic land types. It’s not basic, so cards such as District Guide can’t find it, but it does have the appropriate land types for effects such as that of Drowned Catacomb (from the Ixalan set).
