Stomping Ground is een veelzijdig dubbel land dat voordelen biedt voor decks die zowel rode als groene spreuken efficiënt willen uitspreken, zoals Gruul- of Naya-decks in Magic: the Gathering. Hoewel de betaling van twee levens sommige spelers kan afschrikken, maakt de flexibiliteit om toegang te hebben tot beide kleuren zonder dat je een ander land nodig hebt, het een goede keuze. Unlike most dual lands, this land has two basic land types. It’s not basic, so cards such as District Guide can’t find it, but it does have the appropriate land types for effects such as that of Drowned Catacomb (from the Ixalan set).
