Een deck dat zich richt op agressieve wezenstrategieën, zoals een midrange- of stompy-deck, zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Nullhide Ferox, omdat het een sterke, moeilijk te verwijderen dreiging biedt met hexproof. De beperking op het uitspreken van noncreature-spreuken kan echter beperkend zijn, dus het is mogelijk niet geschikt voor decks die sterk afhankelijk zijn van noncreature-spreuken.
