This Embermaw Hellion card would be a great addition to a red aggressive deck looking to deal extra damage and overwhelm opponents quickly. While it has a strong ability to boost damage from other red sources, there are potentially better options like Angrath's Marauders that double all damage dealt by sources you control, making it a more impactful choice for finishing off opponents. However, Embermaw Hellion could still see play in decks focused on consistent damage output and aggressive strategies.

Multiple Embermaw Hellions are cumulative. If you control two of them, you’ll add 2 to the damage dealt by another red source you control. In this case, you would also add 1 to the damage dealt by either Embermaw Hellion.
